As the night comes by, go night diving and look for the strange whirlpool which is right next to the surface. Head inside and the boss fight will begin.
How to Beat the Hermit Crab Boss in Dave the Diver
The first thing you’ll notice while fighting the crab is that your attacks will deal no damage and the boss will be invulnerable. Dave mentions straight away that you’ll need to find an alternate way to take this boss down.
To beat the Hermit Crab boss in Dave the Diver, get close and wait for it to attack you. As you dodge the attack, the Crab will bury its pincers in the sand and uncover explosive barrels.
Your goal is to pick up these barrels and drop them just above the crab’s head. Each barrel will significantly damage the crab and you’ll need to repeat this process multiple times.
Keep in mind that while you’re trying to move the barrel above the crab’s head, the boss will try to attack you so you will have to dodge its attacks.
