Ivanka Trump Says Her Dad Is A Defender Of Common Sense During RNC Speech And Social Media Rem

Donald Trump’s older daughter, Ivanka Trump, was one of the many in the family who took the stage at the RNC to show support to the current POTUS prior to the presidential elections in November. That being said, her speech gathered quite a lot of attention and it looks like some people did not agree with what she had to say at all!

One of the statements most contested was that her father was a ‘defender of common sense!’

Obviously, many could not help but raise a brow at that one and remind the First Daughter that Donald Trump is also the one who encouraged people to inject bleach in order to kill the COVID-19 virus inside their bodies!

For four days, Donald Trump has been getting a lot of praise at the Republican National Convention and the last one featured his daughter, Ivanka doing exactly the same as all those who came before her.

In front of a pretty big crowd that attended without even wearing masks, Ivanka Trump listed all of her dad’s qualities.

‘Tonight I stand before you as the proud daughter of the people’s president. He is a champion of the American worker, defender of common sense, and our voice for the forgotten men and women of this country,’ she told people from the White House lawn.

Even though not many agreed with any of those things being attached to the Donald Trump name, the ‘defender of common sense’ seemed to be the most out of place!

Therefore, social media users took to their platforms to slam that description and remind Ivanka of all the reasons why that is far from the truth!

Ivanka Trump: “Tonight I stand before you as the proud daughter of the people’s president. He is our commander-in-chief, champion of the American worker, defender of common sense and our voice for the forgotten men and women of this country.” https://t.co/EyJzJDolZ4 #RNC2020 pic.twitter.com/znq4e9Eg5i

‘Hey @IvankaTrump Your father said people should inject bleach into their bodies. And you had the nerve to mention common sense and his name in the same sentence. I can’t with you,’ one person tweeted in response.

Another also pointed out: ‘She says to the 1500 people crowded together, in front of her, none of whom wearing masks, during an outbreak of a deadly infectious virus. That’s common sense??’
