Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt have welcomed their first child together. Though the couple hasn’t made an official announcement, Katherine’s brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger has. The couple has been married since June 2019 and has moved forward quickly with their family. It’s clear that the happy couple wanted to keep details of their pregnancy and birth private and though they never held a public gender reveal, it is believed that Katherine and Chris are the parents to a healthy, baby girl. ET caught up with Patrick Schwarzenegger who had just been shopping for a “little gift” that included a pink ribbon. Without giving too many details and still respecting Chris’ and Katherine’s privacy, he did reveal that they are all doing great.
At this time, neither Katherine Schwarzenegger nor Chris Pratt has issued a public statement about the labor, birth, or delivery and details such as the baby’s name, weight, length, or even day she was born have been announced. Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger haven’t said anything publicly yet but it is expected that an announcement will be made soon.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver were spotted visiting Chris and Katherine at their home on Friday, August 7, 2020, and many believe it was because the baby had already been born. It was only back in May that the public learned Katherine and Pratt were expecting their first child together. Chris Pratt shares a 7-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Farris.
ET exclusively reported on the baby’s birth and shared several photos of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger leaving the Pratt residence. When Arnold walked to his vehicle, he was smoking a cigar.
It is traditional to smoke a cigar in celebration of a new baby’s birth.
